Review by hotel critic
My recent stay at Maria Paulo Guest House Bar And Restaurant was a delightful experience that felt like home, a true gem amid the hustle of city life. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the beach and nestled along the lively Agonda street, making it easy to explore local shops and bars with my travel buddies. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with soundproofing that kept outside noise at bay-an essential feature for a good night's sleep! I particularly appreciated the mini-refrigerator and electric kettle in the room, which allowed me to enjoy a cup of tea on the balcony while soaking in the angled sea view. The staff were kind and welcoming, always ready to help, making us feel safe and well taken care of. Their restaurant offered a nice variety of meals-from comforting local dishes to Asian and Indian specialties-which we enjoyed after spending the day on the beach. With free WiFi and a shared lounge area, Maria Paulo made it easy for us to unwind after our adventures. Trust me, this spot is a must-visit, and I can't wait to return!
